Influencing government policy

Allen Creedy a senior partner at Ethical partnership has recently been elected as the  Chairman of the Environment Energy and Policy Unit at the Federation of Small Businesses. Clients should not be worried as Allen will continue to be based in Newcastle and to be the first point of contact for our long standing clients.

In his new role one of Allen’s first meetings was with the Rt Hon Owen Pattinson Secretary of State at DEFRA, over lunch this week at the fSB AGM this week Allen pressed the Minster to reverse  recent reductions in funding for the Environment Agency pointing to the impacts this is having on their front line customer service and day to day maintenance operations.

Allen said ” I look forward to now being able to have direct contact with ministers and in so doing being able to influence funding and other decisions to the benefit of the FSB members”

Allen’s role is to lobby Ministers at DEFRA, & DECC, the boards of OFGEM &, OFWAT, Environment Agency and Natural England on behalf of the interests of the 250,000 small businesses members of the FSB. Allen a policy support team based in London to help him with this role. ethical partnership is member of the fsb
