This week’s Midweek Mention…

Life is exciting when you get to work with excellent professionals who share your values!

We are proud to be part of the North East’s diverse business scene – and we are privileged to collaborate with others on a whole range of projects. Our rapport with clients and companies alike is at the heart of our business – and is why  our partnerships are rarely a ‘one-hit wonder’.

One such key relationship is with the team at Sadler Brown Architects, for whom we often provide planning and sustainability services to complement their exemplary designs. It therefore seems fitting that the first in Midweek Mention, our new blog series on the local businesses we love, should be to celebrate them!

Sadler Brown are a Newcastle-based firm whose influence goes far beyond the region.

Their passion for excellent architecture and integrated sustainability has won them many awards… and they are responsible for the design of the house on this evening’s Channel 4 show Grand Designs. The rural Devon home is based on a spiral fossil form, with a roof comprising wood, glass and solar panels. Sounds intriguing? We think so! You can take a sneak peak at the project on their website, or of course you can watch the show at 9pm this evening.

Should it whet your appetite for a house of outstanding or innovative architecture (in the countryside or otherwise!), get in touch – we can advise you on the full process from initial ideas, through the design stages, applying for planning permission and on to the finished product!
