Putting the Right Waste, in the Right Place

putting the right waste in the right place

On 26th September, ethical partnership were involved with the ‘Right Waste, Right Place’ seminar in Barrow.  This interactive, free seminar focused on Duty of Care with waste management and ensured that anyone who produces or deals with waste would fully understand the risks (and potential rewards!) that compliance could have for their business.

Hosted by the Environmental Resource Forum, the event provided insight and information regarding waste management and Duty of Care. Speakers gave a thorough insight, covering what compliance should look like, how to apply Duty of Care effectively within businesses and what can happen if it goes wrong.

Ethical partnership covered ‘cutting the cost of waste’ to further show the benefits that full compliance with Duty of Care can have, displaying some case studies and site audits that ethical partnership has recently undertaken with major companies within the construction sector, just one of the many services that we offer.

Thank you to all of those who were involved and attended – the event provided great insight into Duty of Care, the importance of a circular economy to eliminate waste and the continual use of resources, and the resources available through the Right Waste, Right Place scheme.

You can find out more about how the circular economy can be used to benefit your business with a new series of posts – coming soon!
