An Overview of the Local Plans | What It Means for You

The Northumberland Local Plan and Durham Local Plan set out the planning framework for much of the North East and determines much of the land usage for the next 10 years and beyond. The deadlines to have land considered for these plans are approaching fast – on 29 May 2019, the Northumberland Local Plan was submitted to the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government for independent examination. You can find out more by reading our previous post about the Local Plans and by watching this video below.

If you own land in the North East, contact us as soon as possible and we will work to help realise its true potential. We will help to influence the local plan and have your land considered for a planning designation, vastly increasing the value of the land.
