Retail Planning Success to Provide Growth to the Bishop Auckland Area

We have had a lot of recent planning success at Ethical Partnership, receiving planning permission on behalf of the client for the erection of an A1 Retail (Bulky Goods) unit at Abraham Enterprise Park, Bishop Auckland.

Alongside the erection of an A1 Retail (Bulky Goods) unit, we have also secured the planning permission for the associated ground works, car parking and landscaping. This impressive addition to the current site seeks to boost the local economy and assist in the continued growth of the surrounding Bishop Auckland area.

We led on all aspects of the planning application, including preparing the actual planning application, planning statement, design and access statement and project management. Due to the complexity of this project, we pride ourselves on the great care taken in guiding this project from concept through to delivery.

With the recent economic impacts of the coronavirus pandemic felt nationwide, we are pleased that we are able to support the local economy within the North East with this large-scale retail project, and are ready to assist the client and this project through to its final completion. There is also great potential for this site and development to positively contribute to net biodiversity gain within the local area.
