Small Planning Consultancy of the year national finalist award logo

Everyone at ethical partnership is delighted and proud to be able to announce that we are finalists in the national Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) Award for Planning Excellence 2022. We are finalists in the Small Planning Consultancy of the Year category. This comes after being awarded ‘Small Planning Consultancy of the Year’ by the RTPI North East in the regional Awards for Planning Excellence in June.

You can check out the full promotional brochure for the awards here.

The RTPI Awards for Planning Excellence celebrate outstanding plans, projects and people that demonstrate the power of planning. These awards highlight exceptional examples of how planning and planners have a positive impact on our quality of life in creating exceptional places and protecting our environment.

This event rounds off an exciting year for us. Peter Gillan has been named a ‘Rising Star’ within the transport industry, Jo Rogers has been named a ‘Woman of Influence 2021’ by the RTPI and The Planner, Alannah Healey was a finalist for ‘Young Planner of the Year’ at the RTPI Awards for Planning Excellence, and Sophie Stanton has had research on Urban Regeneration published by Cities Forum. On top of this, Alison Convery has gained her associate membership of the RTPI and is working towards her full chartership, and we have taken on several new team members in Will Laing, Rosie Eccleston and Tom Grimshaw.

We are looking forward to representing the North East at the national awards on 30 November in London. We also want to wish the best of luck to all other finalists and we are looking forward to meeting everyone at the awards. And a special thanks to the RTPI North East judges for getting us through to the national finals!
