We’re happy to be able to announce that we have been shortlisted as finalists in the RTPI Awards for Planning Excellence for the North East for 2023. This follows our success at the North East Awards in 2022 where we were named Small Planning Consultancy of the Year for the region too.
The RTPI Awards for Planning Excellence celebrate outstanding plans, projects and people that demonstrate the power of planning. These awards highlight exceptional examples of how planning and planners have a positive impact on our quality of life in creating exceptional places and protecting our environment. We are honoured to have been selected as finalists and we are looking forward to the awards dinner in June.
Alongside EP as an organisation being shortlisted as a finalist in the North East awards, we have some other fantastic news as well.
Sophie Stanton, Planner, is shortlisted as a finalist in the RTPI North East Awards for Planning Excellence in the ‘Young Planner of the Year’ category…
And Jo Rogers, Chartered Planner, is shortlisted as a finalist in the RTPI North West Awards for Planning Excellence in the ‘Young Planner of the Year’ category for her region as well!
The Young Planner of the Year award seeks out the brightest RTPI members in the early stages of their careers. The RTPI are looking for outstanding Young Planners who can demonstrate a contribution to planning or significant career achievements in recent years. The finalists are selected from those nominated who can best demonstrate their understanding of planning policy and the planning system, the range and quality go planning approach, commitment to continuing professional development and the extent to which they serve as role models for other young professionals.
Being shortlisted as a finalist is an incredible achievement for both Sophie and Jo, but it is testament to their dedication and distinction as planners. We wish them (and everybody else shortlisted) the best of luck for the awards and we are looking forward to seeing everyone there.
