Alannah is based in our Newcastle office.

Alannah is a chartered planner, and has experience in supporting a wide range of projects across the UK, co-ordinating the delivery of complex planning applications for a wide range of developments including residential, heritage and transport infrastructure.

In recent years, Alannah has taken the lead in obtaining planning consents for the regionally important ‘Northumberland Line’ scheme which includes the re-introduction of passenger services from Newcastle to Ashington, and the construction of six new railway stations. 

Alannah has experience in ensuring multi-disciplinary collaboration in large scale projects and cultivating a wider understanding of how planning sits within the wider industry.

“I very much enjoy going to the theatre, to see musicals in particular. I play tenor saxophone.

I have been an explorer scout leader for a number of years and enjoy getting outside when I am not at my desk. I love exploring places, and desperate to tick a few more countries off my bucket list as we emerge from the pandemic.

More recently, I started playing netball, and I am currently attempting to train for my first Great North Run in September, raising money for Motor Neurone Disease Association.”
