Dan is based in our Newcastle office.
Dan holds an MA in Arts, Business and Creativity from Newcastle University and works with EP as a Media and Communications Associate. He has a wide breadth of experience in marketing and communications, utilising a wide variety of media, processes and channels. He covers the social media and marketing channels for EP, as well providing updates to the content and style of the website.
Dan is a keen videographer and music producer and provides in-house video production as a form of creative media communication for a variety of projects. He understands the complexity that surrounds planning practice, and aims to disseminate the planning language effectively to reduce barriers and simultaneously increase the reach that planning-related issues and benefits can have.
“I am passionate about preserving the natural environment, something that I am developing through my PhD at Newcastle University Business School by looking into environmentally sustainable entrepreneurship within the context of the North East region.
I am a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and often support local social innovation initiatives from my combined background in the Arts and Business.
I am also a keen musician, having played a variety of instruments for over 15 years. I have also previously volunteered my time with local stage productions as a bass guitarist.”
