Emily is based in our Newcastle office.

Within the EP planning team, Emily works as a Planner and Designer. She is able to utilise her previous work experience as a Landscape Architect and Historic Conservation consultant. Emily has a proven track record of delivering planning permissions, masterplans, and Listed Building Consents in both England and Wales.

She has experience of conducting site surveys, producing reports, and guiding applications through the planning process with a pragmatic approach that is focused on achieving results. As a student of the built environment, Emily’s education and experience has given her a good understanding of how space and place greatly influence communities, an area’s quality of life, and the balance of multiple factors which are required to optimise these important aspects of our built environment.

“I recently earned my black belt in Shotokan Karate and spend a few days a week training for my 2nd Dan. One of my favourite things about my karate club is the welcoming community. I greatly enjoy supporting my fellow classmates, celebrating the achievements of club members, and the thrill of learning new things together. Another hobby of mine is sewing and crafts. During the pandemic I was able to donate some of my time to help sew and donate fabric masks for the public.”
